Purpose

We are looking for a Creative Community Manager. Someone who lives and breathes social media, possessing a high level of expertise in growing large communities. 
This is not the usual Community Manager role. As a part of a large Social Media Team and integrant of the Community Manager Team, this role will be in charge of executing creative strategies to ensure community building and growth. Operative tasks such as content publishing or data analysis will require support but will be led by other team members.  This role will also work closely with other creative teams to ensure that creative strategies for integrated campaigns and content projects are properly implemented and activated in the brand's always-on approach. 

Responsibilities 

  • Engage and create valuable conversation with the community: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from community members in a close and friendly way. As a native English speaker, communicate clearly and effectively with the audience. 
  • Moderate online communities: Care about the company's social media channels, forums, and other online platforms but also ensure a positive conversation and maintain brand relationship with its audience on external channels (Partners and Collaborators channels) 
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of community strategies: Along with the social media team, create and execute plans to engage with the company's target audience, foster a sense of community, and drive conversation growth, particularly in the auto and motor sector.  
  • Creative and trends proposals: As a key piece of the communication chain with the audience, we will expect proactive content proposals from this role to ensure that the brand provides what the audience demands. Support and creative resources will be provided to develop ideas whenever necessary. 
  • Support in operational tasks: As mentioned above, operational tasks such as content publishing, data monitoring, content tagging or costumer care contact will be led by other team members, but occasional support will be required 

Qualifications

  • Passionate about the auto and motor industry.
  • Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • + 2/3 years of proven experience as Community Manager 
  • Creative copywriting background with proven success in engaging audiences.
  • Strong understanding and interest of social media trends and algorithms.
  • Ability to develop conversations and build strong relationships with the audience.
  • Creative problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven experience in moderating online communities 
  • Comfortable engaging with external partners like brands and influencers/creators
