Senior Technical Program Manager, Systems
We believe the future of our nation’s roadways is automated, safer, more accessible and enables more efficient movement of people and goods. While billions have been invested into developing vehicle technologies – including advanced driver assistance systems (“ADAS”) and autonomous driving solutions – a small fraction has been spent on developing infrastructure to support and enhance roadways. At Cavnue, we are developing and integrating technologies that will power the world’s most technologically advanced roadways (“cavnues”). Our approach is founded in creating a digital model of the roadway that analyzes and optimizes road conditions in real-time, sharing actionable alerts and providing proactive guidance to vehicles and drivers.
Join us in innovating the roads of the future. Cavnue is bridging vehicle technology and road infrastructure to rapidly deliver safer roads today while accelerating the adoption of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) moving forward. With ongoing deployments in Michigan, Texas, and Georgia, Cavnue is the only company in North America that uses Smart Road technology to improve performance for road operators and deliver a safer, more efficient experience for all road users while preparing for a future with more CAVs. Our mission is to set the new standard for road performance and safety.

- Facilitate the definition and adherence to Operations & Maintenance procedures to ensure high quality performance of Cavnue’s system once installed.
- Plan schedules, identify risks, communicate with stakeholders, and present program updates to leaders and executives.

- Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to drive tight schedules and work in time-sensitive environments.

- Expertise with project management tools, software, and best practices (e.g., Atlassian suite, Smartsheet, Lucid).
- Detailed knowledge of product development lifecycle.
- Ability to see the big picture across teams, timelines, and inputs, to drive overall “system-level” program delivery
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams and facilitate technical discussions/issue management and resolution
- Ability to synthesize and distill often complex and competing inputs into key themes and recommendations
- Ability to be a hands-on thought partner for the execution teams, not simply a scrum master
- 6+ years of experience, including 5+ years of Technical Program / Product / Project Management experience along with 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with technology development & validation (hardware & software systems, high fidelity sensing systems, DevOps, etc.)
- Familiarity with major infrastructure project delivery (contracting, construction, system installation, system validation, operations & maintenance, etc.)
- Hands-on technical experience (e.g., Software Engineering, ML / AI, Hardware Engineering, Systems or Civil Engineering) strongly preferredPrevious experience in automotive, autonomous vehicle, ITS / civil engineering, or other “physical & digital” systems engineering strongly preferred
