The Role
Cayaba Care is seeking per-diem and part-time Registered Nurses (RN) who will be delivering clinical care via telemedicine, partner with the Maternity Navigators, and serve as a clinical liaison from Cayaba to the member’s primary obstetrics provider to improve health outcomes. This role will report to the Director of Care Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care via telemedicine during prenatal and postpartum period, supplementing the member’s primary obstetrician visits
- Work closely with our Maternity Navigators for a cross-discipline approach to care, attending care team huddles to provide clinical guidance and reviewing care plans and post-visit documentation
- Triage clinical escalations and common pregnancy-related complaints as appropriate
- Serve as clinical liaison from Cayaba to the member’s primary obstetrics provider, documenting care summaries and escalating clinical needs to the member’s primary provider as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Active Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey RN license or compact state license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing direct postpartum and prenatal care in Women’s health and obstetrics in the ambulatory care setting
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment
- Focus on providing compassionate, culturally informed care
- Excitement to work with a collaborative team of Maternity Navigators, registered dieticians, family support specialists, and lactation consultants
Nice to haves:
- Specialized in OB-GYN, Women’s Health
- Midwifery experience
- Fluent in Spanish or French
- Start-up experience
- Compact state license and/or willingness to get licensed in multiple states
- Independence Blue Cross Credential
