We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director, Professional and Managed Services to lead the growth and development of our professional services offerings. This critical role will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, designing scalable service solutions, and expanding our reach to new customers and geographies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling services organizations within a high-growth environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the expansion of professional services in the areas of Managed Services, Business Process Optimization, and eLearning, aligning with overall company objectives and revenue targets.
    • Identify and evaluate new market segments, customer needs, and service opportunities in the Research and Healthcare sectors to drive business growth.
    • Create detailed business cases and financial models for proposed service expansions.
  • Service Development & Innovation
    • Design, develop, and launch new professional service offerings to support revenue expansion outside of standard implementation services.
    • Define service methodologies, best practices, and delivery frameworks to ensure consistent quality and scalability for new service offerings.
    • Direct content creation and administration of Academy, Cayuse’s customer facing eLearning solution.
    • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of services with product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
    • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within existing service offerings.
  • Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement
    • Partner with the sales team to develop effective sales enablement tools, collateral, and training for new service offerings.
    • Support the sales process by participating in client presentations, developing proposals, and negotiating service agreements.
    • Develop pricing strategies and models for new services that drive profitability and market competitiveness.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to create compelling eLearning enablement and enrichment campaigns to drive awareness and revenue.
    • Provide PS team enablement on new services offerings and processes.
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Build, mentor, and lead a team of consultants who will deliver the new service offerings.
    • Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the success of service expansion initiatives and team performance.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the services team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with executive leadership to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities related to services expansion.
    • Collaborate with customer success and support teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from sales to service delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in professional services, consulting, or services sales with a strong focus on strategy and expansion.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, ideally building and scaling services organizations.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and launching new service offerings that drive revenue growth beyond standard implementation services.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS software landscape and professional services best practices.
  • Experience working in Research or Healthcare sectors a strong plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with business case development.
