You will operate as the company’s commercial leader across APAC, driving growth, nurturing strategic customer relationships, exploring partnerships, and ensuring long-term value for our regional customers. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership

  • Act as the company’s senior representative across the APAC region.

  • Identify regional trends, risks, and opportunities to inform product, marketing, and commercial strategy.

Business Development & New Customer Acquisition

  • Drive new SaaS customer acquisition across key APAC markets.
  • Own the entire sales cycle as an individual contributor: prospecting, discovery, demos, value engineering, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline using SaaS metrics (ARR, ACV, conversion rates, cycle time).
  • Engage directly with enterprise and strategic customers to drive high-value opportunities.

Ownership of Customer Success

  • Own customer success outcomes for all APAC customers as an individual contributor.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, high adoption, and rapid time-to-value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitor customer health and proactively manage churn risks.
  • Drive renewals and expansion opportunities to increase net revenue retention (NRR).
  • Deliver customer QBRs, training sessions, and strategic account reviews as needed.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Build relationships with key channel partners, associations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support partner-led opportunities and regional co-marketing efforts.
  • Identify and collaborate with channel or referral partners to support regional growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide customer and regional insights to Product for roadmap planning and localization needs.
  • Work with Marketing to tailor messaging, events, and campaigns for APAC markets.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Support and Engineering to resolve customer challenges quickly.
  • Share feedback with RevOps to improve processes, pricing, and customer lifecycle management.

Regional Advocacy & Market Presence

  • Represent the company at APAC conferences, industry forums, and customer events.
  • Build brand awareness and thought leadership in the region.
  • Establish credibility with executives and technical stakeholders across diverse markets.

Qualifications

  • 10–12+ years of SaaS experience across Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and own both acquisition and retention in a regional role.
  • Strong track record closing enterprise SaaS deals and managing complex customers.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle management, and subscription economics.
  • Experience working across multiple APAC markets with strong cultural awareness.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the region.
  • Management experience required
  • Preferred: Experience in the higher education technology space
