About the Role

We are actively seeking a capable and driven Leading Hand who is eager to grow and develop their leadership skills on site. Day to day you will be leading a crew in the construction of exciting and complex infrastructure projects. 
This is the chance to take on more responsibility, delivering quality excellence on your workface and ensuring that we're meeting deadlines, standards and the expectations of our clients and community. 

About You

• Trade Qualified or currently undertaking (ideally)
• Proven experience with civils projects and construction procedures 
• Capable of driving a team to deliver quality work and enjoy it while they do
• Able to use benchmarks and offsets controls to construct permanent works
• Understanding of on-site management skills of people, plant and materials
• Ability to read drawings, plans and Inspection Test Plans
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to manage 3-5 direct reports
• Ability to tell a good joke and have a laugh
