Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lafayette, CA (hybrid-3 days per week in office)

FLSA Status: TBD

Compensation:  $140,000 annual salary + bonus

Reports to: President of Clinical Services

CBEM, a leading crisis intervention service in California, seeks a proactive and motivated Business Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales, marketing, and business strategy background with a passion for identifying new opportunities and building relationships. The role involves working closely with senior management to drive business growth within and outside California to expand CBEM’s reach and achieve revenue targets.

 

Key responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry developments to inform strategic decisions around growth. 

Lead Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential stakeholders and partners.

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential stakeholders/partners.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to help CBEM achieve revenue targets.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with department heads to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to senior management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Google Suite.
