Facility & Safety Administrator
Job Title: Facility & Safety Administrator
Location: Lafayette, CA (hybrid, 3 days in office)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $36.06 per hour + opportunities for a quarterly bonus
Reports to: Assistant Controller

Join CBEM as our Facility & Safety Administrator, where you will play a vital role in maintaining our offices, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility maintenance and address requests through a ticketing system.
- Coordinate with our real estate broker and landlords on leases and office spaces.
- Source and manage vendors, their contracts and ensure timely service delivery.
- Develop and maintain workplace safety policies, conduct audits, and lead training programs.
- Support office setup, remodels, and closures, including travel to various sites.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure safety equipment is properly maintained.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Occupational Safety, or a related field is preferred. Experience can be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree as follows:
- Associate’s Degree/Two years of College plus two (2) years of related work experience
- High School Diploma plus four (4) years of related work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, safety administration, or related roles.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications like CFM, OSHA, CSP, or similar are a plus.
Physical Demands:
This role may require occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), travel (up to 20%) and hands-on work in office spaces.
