Federal ERP Integration Manager

Hybrid - Washington DC

We are seeking a highly experienced ERP Integration Manager to lead coordination and integration across a complex SAP ERP modernization effort within a Federal Government / DoD environment. This role is not focused on designing SAP configurations or acting as a Solution Architect in the traditional SAP sense. Instead, the ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader who understands how SAP ERP systems come together across disparate process areas, technical tracks, and delivery teams — and can drive alignment, issue resolution, and timely delivery at scale.
This is a leadership position for someone who knows how to talk both up and down the chain of command — equally comfortable engaging SES-level government leadership on strategy as they are working with developers, BAs, and testers on dependencies and risks. If you’re someone who can bridge functional, technical, and programmatic worlds—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the integration lead across the SAP ERP program, ensuring synchronization across functional, technical, and program delivery teams.
  • Coordinate activities across requirements generation, software solutioning, development, testing, cutover, and deployment efforts.
  • Ensure dependencies, risks, and issues are tracked, prioritized, communicated, and resolved in alignment with program goals and delivery milestones.
  • Interface effectively with senior government leadership (e.g., SES level) while also engaging tactically with development and operations teams.
  • Work closely with PMO, business owners, functional leads, and integrators to align priorities, facilitate decision-making, and ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Act as a liaison across diverse teams to ensure continuity, reduce silos, and support the full lifecycle of SAP ERP implementation.
  • Bring strategic clarity and execution discipline to large modernization efforts in a federal context.
  • Apply familiarity with SAP public sector solutions (included Defense and Security), understanding capabilities at a conceptual level to help teams translate requirements into solutions (without needing to configure the software)

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience supporting ERP or SAP programs, including significant time in federal / DoD contexts.
  • Demonstrated success leading or integrating large-scale SAP ERP programs, with deep understanding of how to align functional, technical, and programmatic tracks.
  • Strong experience in issue resolution, cross-team coordination, and delivery oversight across large (50–100+ person) teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making across senior executives, program staff, and delivery partners.
  • Ability to understand how SAP ERP solutions (e.g., Finance, Logistics, PSM, D&S) are implemented, and to translate between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Experience supporting programs using Agile or SAFe delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent skills in identifying and managing interdependencies, risks, and impacts across a large program portfolio.

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

  • Prior hands-on experience in SAP ERP (configuration, implementation, testing, data conversion or program management).
  • Familiarity with SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) or Defense & Security (D&S) modules.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA modernization efforts.
  • Understanding of the broader ecosystem (e.g., middleware, integration platforms) without needing hands-on experience (e.g., BTP, CPI, PI/PO).
  • Exposure to and familiarity with federal financial or logistics processes
  • Familiarity with AI development tools to expedite the development and documentation of a software system

Work Location

  • Local to the Washington, DC area preferred. Remote with ability to travel will be considered.
  • On-site presence is expected for key meetings and touchpoints with stakeholders.
  • Some hybrid/remote flexibility may be available depending on phase and program needs.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
