cBEYONData is seeking a highly skilled and experienced team member to join our team in support of configuration of SAP S/4 HANA system for a Federal Government client. The focus across the broader program includes leading a team of SAP configuration SME’s across multiple modules, participating in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) sessions, analyzing the current Business Processes in existing SAP ECC systems and how they need to be designed when transitioning into a consolidated SAP S/4 environment. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a team of SAP configuration SME’s across multiple SAP modules to ensure that the identified capabilities are configured as per the client requirement
  • Responsible for developing detailed technical plans for the configuration activities
  • Work with Scrum master to ensure that the tasks are aligned to agile sprints
  • Serve as the SME lead to discuss and resolve any configuration related questions and the impacts of interdependencies between the different modules
  • Support the team in hands-on configuration activities by getting into the system and addressing any issues and roadblocks
  • Participate in BPR workshops to architect how the Business Processes should be re-engineered to be implemented in a consolidated SAP S/4 HANA environment
  • Research the best practices recommended for implementing the processes in SAP S/4 HANA
  • Configure capabilities within SAP modules as required to support the team within  SAP S/4 HANA based on agreed upon requirements
  • Demonstrate the configuration in SAP S/4 HANA to the BRP team members with recommendations on how the processes should work in the future to-be environment

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Note that although this is a lead role it is not a Project Management or Agile lead role. We are looking for a lead with extensive hands-on SAP configuration experience across multiple SAP modules to lead and guide a team of highly skilled developers and willing to be hands on as we design the SAP S/4 HANA system for the client
  • Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP ECC6.0 implementation experience serving as lead for a team of configurators for multiple SAP modules
  • Minimum of 1 full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience serving as lead for a team of configurators for multiple SAP modules
  • Minimum of 1 full lifecycle SAP ECC6.0 implementation experience with Federal Government client working with multiple SAP modules
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience with an advanced understanding of the roles and tasks involved to include but not limited to the SAP modules FI, FM, CO, SD, PP, PEO, EWM, TM, PS
  • Hands-on experience in configuring business processes in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA IMG
  • Expert level knowledge in managing development and path to production
  • Expert level knowledge of cross module impacts related to config. decisions
  • Expert level knowledge of SAP Business Processes to include B2R, P2P, O2C
  • Expertise in analyzing, configuring, testing, and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies
  • Knowledge of SAP Best Business Practices (BPPs) and their impact on system configuration
  • Experience in planning and leading requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and functional POC’s preferably in the Federal government sector
  • Experience with complex problem-solving strategies. Able to determine the source of a problem and find effective solution(s) through an in-depth evaluation of varying factors. Strong capacity for abstract reasoning and creative visioning
  • Experience working or leading in a team utilizing Agile Software Methodology   
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to cross-functional teams, experience with working complex projects remotely
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive client leadership
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision
  • Driven, self-directed personality
  • Strong sense of mission and commitment
