
Intern, Institutional Client Reporting
CC&L Financial Group is seeking an Intern to join our Institutional Client Reporting Team for a 4-Month term (May - August 2026).

Interact with the various teams involved in the institutional reporting cycle and see first-hand the impact of client reporting in the Investment Management process.
As an Intern you will:

Setup and help maintain client accounts and client data.

Ensure that a multitude of reports are accurately set up, maintained, produced and distributed.

Through the use of a third-party reporting system, work with the team to build and maintain reports through the use of logical rules and a proprietary coding language

Liaise between various Client Relationship Managers, internal teams to trouble shoot the entire reporting production process and provide solutions.

Translate business logic to source code written in a proprietary language.

Analyze, maintain and improve the reporting process to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.

Be involved in the reporting life cycle from requirements gathering, assessments, development, testing and implementation to ensure the objectives of the client reporting teams and reporting systems continue to be met.

Advise and collaborate with the operational team members of the Institutional Reporting Team in the creation and maintenance of client reports along with other collateral material including:

Building, maintaining and enhancing report layouts using a mix of in-house tools and leading third party technology to ensure highly effective reporting operations.

Using a third-party IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to enhance and develop report layouts and assign logical rules to support the automated report production.

Involvement in the reporting life cycle from requirements gathering, assessments, development, testing and implementation to ensure the objectives of the client reporting teams and reporting systems continue to be met
Qualifications and Experience
The Intern position is geared toward students pursuing an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance and/or Commerce. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact in process efficiencies at CC&L.

Technology: Knowledge of source code writing is an asset. Knowledge of Simcorp’s Coric Client Communication solution is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 CAD annualized. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
