Project Manager, Enterprise Projects

Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers? We are looking for a Project Manager for an existing vacancy in our Enterprise Projects team. The Enterprise Projects team connects people across the organization to improve project outcomes, enable change and transformation, and support the organization in achieving its business goals and realizing its strategy. Through discovery, we define the business need and lead the design and delivery of high-caliber, cost-effective solutions that empower the enterprise to pursue its vision. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week. 
 
What You Will Do
In this role you will join a highly skilled group of project professionals working across the organization to contribute to the following areas:
  • Project Management: You will play a key role in business transformation by leading large-scale strategic initiatives across the organization.  You will lead and manage project teams spanning multiple business units from conception to operational handover, while ensuring that business results are achieved.
  • Strategic Consulting & Advice: You will assist in leading assessments to evaluate new opportunities and will provide strategic input on business decisions.
  • Coaching: You will help build project skills throughout the organization through ongoing coaching and mentoring.
 
What You Bring
The following qualifications are important to be successful in the role:
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Prior experience leading large-scale core technology platform transformations
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
  • You have a disciplined and consistent approach to project management, getting the small things right while keeping the bigger picture in view
  • You are known for building successful relationships at all levels
  • You have a passion for project management and a demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices
  • You are a critical thinker with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and summarize effectively
  • You can lead teams through challenging times and are seen as a trusted facilitator for addressing conflict
  • You have a disciplined approach to problem solving and know how to lead a group through difficult decisions
  • You have experience leading complex projects from initial concept through to implementation and are skilled at providing leadership and guidance to project stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • You effectively utilize your network of industry contacts to gain valuable insights
  • You contribute to the development of strategic plans
  • Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations  
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges 
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management would be an asset

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
