Assistant Manager, System Integration

We are a leading technology driven financial organization seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager, System Integrations to join our Information Systems team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end integration across diverse platforms, overseeing architecture design, and ensuring seamless connection between business applications, infrastructure, and external vendor systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in modern programming languages, API integration, cloud platforms, and enterprise databases, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions while mentoring junior engineers and supporting long-term system reliability.

What You Will Do:

  • Integration Leadership: Lead end-to-end system integration efforts across multiple platforms, ensuring interoperability and performance.
  • Architecture & Design: Define integration architecture, frameworks, and standards to support scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Technical Execution: Oversee development, configuration, and deployment of integration solutions, including APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
  • Testing & Validation: Establish and manage integration testing strategies, including unit, system, and regression testing.
  • Cross-Team & Vendor Collaboration: Partner with internal Business, Infra, Security, Development, Networks etc. teams and external vendors to coordinate integration activities, resolve dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot integration challenges, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Technical Support: Ensure smooth transition of integrated systems to support teams by providing documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
 
What You Bring:
  • Programming Expertise: Hands-on experience with modern high-level languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • API Integration: Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and API lifecycle management.
  • Data Formats & Transformation: Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, & XSD schemas and ETL processes.
  • Event-Driven Systems: Experience with webhooks and messaging queue technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Microsoft Technologies & Database Expertise: Proven experience in the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft technologies, including Endpoint solutions, SQL, and database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL).
  • Middleware & Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Networking & Protocols: Proficiency in TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, and secure communication standards.
  • Testing & Validation: Ability to design and execute integration testing strategies (unit, system, regression).
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of authentication (OAuth, SAML), encryption, and industry compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic skills to identify root causes of integration issues.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and understand how components interact within complex systems.
  • Optimization: Skilled in improving performance, scalability, and reliability of integrated solutions.
  • Documentation: Ability to produce clear technical documentation and integration guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Capable of managing competing priorities across teams and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Equivalent Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in system integration, with at least 4 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
  • Experience in BFSI or financial domain
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft technologies
  • Certification in cloud or integration technologies (Azure/AWS/MuleSoft/ITIL
