Intern, Institutional Portfolio Operations

Gurugram, Haryana, India

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern for our Institutional Portfolio Operations team. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset management operations, specifically focusing on portfolio reconciliation, fee calculation, AUM reporting and corporate action.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in daily portfolio reconciliation tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in portfolio data.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Calculate management and performance fees.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and automation Projects.

 

What You Bring:

  • B.tech, MBA or B.Com in Finance/Accounting.
  • Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of the securities market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with VBA and Power BI is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial instruments and markets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
