Cloud & Identity Platform Owner

Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers? We are looking for a Cloud & Identity Platform Owner for an existing vacancy in our Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team. This role owns the Cloud & Identity domain, including public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), identity and access management (Entra ID, Active Directory), and Microsoft 365 services. You will define architecture, standards, and guardrails, ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, and easy to consume. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with strong cross-team impact. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with three days in office. 

 

What You Will Do  

  • Own and evolve the Cloud & Identity platform domain across Azure, AWS, and identity systems   
  • Define architecture, standards, and guardrails to ensure scalability, security, and cost efficiency   
  • Own identity foundations (authentication, authorization, access controls) across cloud and hybrid environments   
  • Act as the primary interface to business and application teams, translating needs into platform capabilities   
  • Partner with Security, Operations, and other Platform Owners to align direction and resolve dependencies   
  • Guide SMEs on design decisions and ensure alignment with standards   
  • Drive platform consistency, reduce fragmentation, and improve consumption models   

 

What You Bring  

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms 
  • Strong background in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud integration) 
  • Deep knowledge of identity and Microsoft platforms (Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365)   
  • Practical experience with Azure and AWS 
  • Strong understanding of authentication, access management, and security controls 
  • Experience defining architecture, standards, and platform guardrails 
  • Clear communicator, able to work across technical and business stakeholders 
  • Pragmatic and outcome-driven mindset 

 

The expected salary for this position is $130,000 to 140,000 CAD. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
