Marketing Operations Analyst

Connor, Clark & Lunn is looking to hire a Marketing Operations Analyst. The Marketing Operations Analyst provides operational and analytical support for the Marketing Team. This role assists with marketing reporting, technology administration, process improvements, project coordination, and marketing operations activities that improve efficiency and support business objectives. 
 
The Analyst is responsible for executing assigned initiatives, maintaining accurate marketing & sales data, preparing reports, coordinating operational activities, and supporting opportunities to improve processes. Working under the direction of the Manager, Marketing Operations, this role collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Information Systems, and other business partners to support the successful execution of marketing initiatives. 

What You Will Do:
 

Marketing & Sales Operations 

  • Support data quality assurance and reporting by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of marketing and CRM data through routine audits, validation, and cleanup activities. Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements that enhance reporting, system effectiveness, and operational efficiency. 

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports that connect marketing activities, sales pipeline, and business development outcomes, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.

  • Troubleshoot platform, reporting, and data issues, escalating complex issues as required, while maintaining documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures.

  • Present opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual processes by supporting the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of marketing technologies, automation tools, and reporting processes.

  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation technologies to improve reporting, workflow efficiency, content management, and administrative processes. Participate in testing new AI capabilities and system enhancements, including user acceptance testing for new platforms and process improvements.

  • Document and maintain marketing processes, AI-enabled workflows, and best practices to promote consistency, knowledge sharing, and the effective adoption of new technologies across the Marketing team. 

What You Bring 
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, business analysis, sales operations, or a related field. 
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. 
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Account Engagement (Pardot) and PowerBI to support marketing automation, email marketing campaigns, reporting, data management, and lead tracking. 
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst & Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist is considered an asset. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. 
  • Experience using Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-enabled productivity tools is considered an asset. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior leaders and internal stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.  
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, HTML, and WordPress is considered an asset. 
  • Experience within the financial services or professional services industry is considered an asset. 
 
The starting salary for this position is $60,000. The starting salary provided reflects the base salary for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
