Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Campus Programs

Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers?  We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist specializing in Campus Programs for an existing vacancy to join our Talent Acquisition team. This key resource will help us attract, engage, and build relationships with key educational partners as well as the next generation of talent. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping our campus recruitment strategy for our emerging Quantitative Equity business and delivering an engaging candidate experience for students and early-career professionals. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, university partners, and students to strengthen our presence on campus, build meaningful talent pipelines, and support internship hiring across our Quantitative Equity teams.   

What You Will Do  

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing as well as new university career centers, faculty, student organizations, and other campus partners to identify and attract top talent
  • Plan and participate in campus events including recruitment information sessions, networking sessions and other campus events at key universities.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify creative and innovative ways to connect with students through campus partnerships, events, student organizations, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Support full-cycle campus recruitment for internship opportunities across our investment management team, from sourcing and candidate engagement through interviews, selection, and offer stages
  • Build and manage proactive talent pipelines to support current and future internship and entry-level hiring needs.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools and techniques to identify and engage high-potential candidates.
  • Manage and maintain job postings across university career portals and external job boards, ensuring opportunities are accurate, timely, and positioned to maximize candidate reach.
  • Track and analyze campus recruitment metrics, including hiring outcomes, event effectiveness, candidate engagement, and student reach, and translate the data into actionable insights.
  • Stay informed on campus recruiting trends, student expectations, and emerging talent practices to continually enhance our approach and strengthen our presence in the student market.
  • Establish effective sourcing strategies to support hiring needs through various mediums (I.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, niche job boards, social media, etc.) 
  • Establish & foster strong stakeholder relationships at all levels across the organization by considering regular feedback, and maintaining frequent communication 
  • Maintain strong TA performance through accurate and consistent data, regular tracking and review of key metrics, and ongoing partnership with the TA team to optimize processes across the hiring lifecycle.
  • Foster a growth mindset by focusing on continuous development and staying up to date on industry best practices/standards 

 

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of talent acquisition experience, with meaningful exposure to campus recruitment, early-career programs, or a related area, along with a strong understanding of the Canadian student recruitment landscape.
  • A natural ability to build strong relationships and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, university partners, students, and candidates.
  • A proactive and creative approach to talent attraction, with an interest in finding new ways to engage students, strengthen our campus presence, and differentiate our organization.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple recruitment activities, events, and hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to delivering a thoughtful and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Comfort using data and recruiting metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and turn insights into practical recommendations.
  • Experience with sourcing strategies and recruitment technology, including LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, university career portals, job boards, and other talent acquisition platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with both internal and external audiences.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership, adapt quickly, and work effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in office and remote working days throughout the week – this role requires 3 days/week working in our Vancouver office.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
