We are seeking an Intern Analyst for an existing vacancy to join our Asset Management team for a 4 to 12-month term starting from September 2026. What You Will Do
- Support day-to-day operations and management of CC&L’s renewable energy assets
- Work with Asset Managers to plan facility upgrade and maintenance projects
- Track project budgets and milestones
- Analyze SCADA trends for facility efficiency, troubleshooting, and environmental compliance
- Assist with sourcing and purchasing of services and equipment
- Prepare reports for stakeholders and regulatory agencies
- Assist in preparation and execution of annual business budget and capital project budgets
- Site visits to ensure facilities are well maintained, safe, and in good operating order
- Site visits may be local (ie. day trips) or remote (ie. multi-day trips)
- Other tasks as needed to facilitate the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of facilities
- Participate in providing data, materials and reporting to strategic asset management team for the purposes of valuation and stakeholder reporting
What You Bring
- Education and Experience: The position is geared towards students who are in or going into their third year of an undergraduate degree with a focus on engineering in mechanical, electrical, or civil disciplines. We are seeking students with a strong academic and extracurricular track record. Previous professional co-op or intern experience in engineering, design, construction, or other relevant areas is an asset.
- Technical Skills: You have previous experience leveraging engineering fundamentals and problem solving, preferably in a professional setting. You have advanced knowledge of and can demonstrate your skills in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Collaborative Communication & Teamwork: You are a team player with a positive attitude. You are able to build relationships and interact with professionals at a variety of levels and communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Analytical & Strategic Mindset: You are accountable, proactive, curious, and a continuous learner. You have demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
- Self-Starter: You are a motivated self-starter with a high level of attention to detail, time-management skills, and a proactive approach to work.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
