Senior Manager, Security Program Operations

Overview:  The Senior Manager Security Program Operations is part of the Security, Risk and Compliance department that partners with IT groups, business groups, and project teams to plan, develop security standards and guides for consumption, and manage significant elements of our business resilience including, Enterprise Business Continuity governance and Disaster Recovery program management.  This role is accountable for the overall planning, directing, and organizing activities for the areas of Security Governance and Business Continuity and ensuring efficient operations.  A significant portion of the responsibilities will focus on developing and managing program plans, project and resource tasks, and technology.  This position also supports enterprise initiatives that improve management control systems and helps foster an appreciation for a robust control environment across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage programs: define scope, schedule, and risk plans; focus on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead program status; prepare and distribute progress reports; correct deviations from plans; lead initiatives to support the successful evolution of Complexcare Solutions defense posture as needed and ensure timely notification and corrective actions;
  • Develop teams: hold teams accountable for their commitments; remove roadblocks to their work; manage interdependencies; leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for program work; mentor and develop project management staff; Communicate program progress and issues to management;
  • Initiate processes; manage the impact of programs on operational processes; accountable for delivery planning for multiple security functions; support Technology Operations with tactical program management updates and deliverables;
  • Collaborate effectively with the Security and Compliance team, and key stakeholders to ensure that the projects are delivered with quality;
  • Participate in strategic planning efforts for Privacy and Security and throughout the organization;
  • Manage a staff of Information Security professionals, train new staff, conduct performance reviews and provide leadership and coaching while maintaining on-call support and prioritizing work;
  • Provide project management and operational responsibility for administrative coordination and implementation of the organization’s security programs including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Security Awareness Training, Risk Management; and
  • Other duties: work across departments and with clients while maintaining positive and productive working relationships; adhere to company policies on confidentiality and HIPAA; support Policy Center administration as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with Complexcare Solutions policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Complexcare Solutions Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Complexcare Solutions for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; and
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function.

Job Requirements:

  • Expert level experience of Security fundamentals with a solid understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, defenses, security principles and policies;
  • Demonstrated management experience in performance management, as well as, coaching and motivating;
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent cross functional relationship building skills, strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, highly self-motivated and directed; and
  • Knowledge of applicable HIPAA, SAS70, CoBIT, SOX, NIST, CIS, and data privacy practices and laws.

Education:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in information technology or security related discipline or equivalent experience is required;
  • Master’s degree is preferred; and

CISSP, CISA, CISM, MCP and MCSE certifications preferred.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At ComplexCare Solutions, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range

$132,000 - $150,000 USD
