Product Manager II (Developer)

Remote - USA

Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) is building the developer tools to bring the world onchain.

Today, onchain development is slow, risky, and painful, even for the most experienced onchain developers. Our goal is to bring a million developers onchain by creating an easy to use and trusted developer experience. We build API and SDK products for developers like wallets, paymaster, staking, stablecoins, onchain data, and more.

We are a small team that moves like a startup at Coinbase, with a fast pace, strong ownership culture, and a relentless commitment to making developers happy.

Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) has an ambitious vision to bring a million developers onchain. We’re at the forefront of crypto innovations like onchain-capable AI agents, agentic finance, and next-generation payment solutions that are global, fast, and cost-efficient – and we’re just getting started. We’re building APIs, SDKs, and other developer tools across crypto wallets, onchain data, AI/ML, staking, and more. We’re a small team that moves like a startup within Coinbase with a fast pace, strong ownership culture, and a relentless commitment to delighting onchain builders.

We’re looking for a talented and crypto-forward Product Manager to help bring the world onchain. You’ll own our suite of Onchain Data products – enabling builders to access historical and near-real-time balances and transactions, configure webhooks for transfers and smart contract events, fetch reputation and risk details, and more. Most importantly, you’ll discover and define the tools we haven’t thought of yet to accelerate building onchain.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Own all facets of CDP’s Onchain App Infra suite, from crafting the vision and strategy to executing on specific features
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating and leading across product areas and functions
  • Define OKRs and drive collaboration with cross functional partners during product development to achieve these goals
  • Determine pricing structure and rates for new products
  • Effectively balance and prioritize across all stakeholder objectives
  • Secure buy-in, rigorously prioritize, and drive development for a multi-year product vision that crafts an overall product narrative and direction

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Deep familiarity with the crypto industry and how blockchain networks operate, with meaningful professional experience in crypto
  • Ability to influence and shape strategic decisions/discussions on onchain topics
  • Experience working with and balancing the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders
  • User-focused and able to understand a wide range of user personas
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for crypto and enabling developers

Nice to haves:

  • Existing network within crypto communities
  • Experience contributing to an onchain community or project
  • Prior experience as a software developer (web2 or onchain)
  • Experience determining appropriate pricing for software products
