About Celero

Celero Communications is building the next generation of intelligent optical connectivity for AI infrastructure.

Founded in 2024 by industry pioneers from Broadcom, Inphi, Marvell, and ClariPhy, Celero brings together decades of coherent DSP innovation with a focused mission to deliver the optical performance, power efficiency, and scalability required for tomorrow's AI-driven data centers.

We believe the future of AI infrastructure will be defined not only by speed, but by intelligence, energy efficiency, and the ability to seamlessly move massive amounts of data across increasingly complex networks.

Our mission is to build the technology foundation that makes this possible.

Headquartered in Irvine, California, with engineering teams in Canada and Argentina, Celero develops advanced coherent Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions that enable high-bandwidth, low-power optical connectivity for hyperscale AI infrastructure.

About the job

Celero is seeking an organized, proactive Office Manager to run day-to-day operations at our San Jose office and shape the employee and visitor experience as we grow our coherent optical DSP ASIC business. You will be the go-to person for keeping the office running smoothly, a trusted partner to leadership, and a key contributor to a welcoming, well-organized workplace where our engineering and business teams can focus on designing, validating, shipping and selling coherent DSP silicon for AI data center and hyperscale optical connectivity. Day to day, you will host customer visits from hyperscalers and optical module makers, manage vendors and supplies, coordinate executive travel and meetings, build branded presentations and templates, process expenses and purchasing, and support onboarding, interview scheduling and events. This is a full-time, onsite role at our San Jose site, working across operations, HR, executive support and corporate events, and partnering with colleagues in Irvine, Canada and Córdoba, Argentina as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Environment: Maintain a professional, welcoming office that reflects Celero's brand and culture. Keep shared spaces, labs-adjacent areas and meeting rooms organized and ready for teams and guests.
  • Customer Visits and Meetings: Coordinate customer visits, executive meetings and company events, including logistics for hyperscaler and optical module partner visits. Prepare the space, schedules and hospitality so every visit runs smoothly.
  • Office Logistics: Manage day-to-day logistics including supplies, equipment, facilities, furniture, refreshments and storage. Anticipate needs and solve problems before they affect the team.
  • Vendor Management: Own relationships with facilities, furniture, catering and storage vendors. Track service, cost and responsiveness to keep operations reliable.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for executives and employees, including trips to customer, partner and multi-site team locations
  • Executive Presentations and Templates: Prepare executive presentations and create branded PowerPoint and Word templates. Keep company materials consistent, polished and easy for teams to reuse.
  • Expenses and Purchasing: Process expense reports and manage office purchasing. Keep records accurate and timely and follow company approval practices.
  • Onboarding and Workspace Setup: Assist with employee onboarding, workspace setup and the new hire experience. Make sure new engineers and staff have what they need from day one.
  • HR Process Support: Support HR processes including interview scheduling and training coordination. Keep candidates, interviewers and trainers informed and organized.
  • Events and Culture: Help plan and run trade shows, corporate events and team-building activities. Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture and support cross-functional administrative needs as the company scales.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in office management or administrative roles
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Multi-Site Collaboration: Experience working with international and multi-site teams

  • Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Hosting customer visits at a semiconductor, optical networking or data center technology company
  • Working with multi-site teams in the U.S., Canada and Argentina
  • HR experience, such as onboarding, interview scheduling or training coordination
  • Planning trade shows and corporate events

What Makes You Successful:

  • You are a self-starter who takes ownership without waiting to be asked
  • You solve problems before they come up and bring structure where it is needed
  • You stay calm and effective when priorities shift quickly
  • You bring high emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset
  • You are comfortable building processes in a startup with limited infrastructure
  • You work well across functions and time zones with a global team
