Intern Commercial Finance - Summernaut Program

The Team:

The Commercial Finance team works at the intersection of finance, sales, and operations. We enable work to provide accurate, reliable insights and forecasts into our business, and enable our commercial teams to drive success with our customers.

The Role:

The Commercial Finance intern, reporting to the Director of Finance based NYC, will help support the weekly and monthly deliverables owned by the broader team during the summer for 10 weeks from 2nd June - 8th August. They will get exposure to B2B SaaS reporting on KPIs, business forecasting, business partnering, and more that comes with a high-growth start-up. They will get the opportunity to work with various teams across the organization, including Strategy & Operations, Sales, Analytics, and more.  

The work you’ll do:

  • Contribute to monthly reporting on business performance.
  • Own a part of our forecast on revenue, headcount, and expenses.
  • Work on special projects aimed at improving internal team processes. 
  • Assist in quota calculations and the distribution of compensation plans.
  • Support with daily tasks within the commercial finance team.

The qualifications you need:

  • Currently a rising senior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, ideally majoring in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or similar field. 
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office & GSuite applications, primarily Excel, Powerpoint / Google Sheets, Google Slides. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solver abilities to navigate ambiguous environments
  • Experience with working with a team and effective communicator.
  • Availability for 10 weeks from 2nd June to 8th August.

The base pay range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule.

Total compensation package will include base pay and sick time off. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.

$28 - $35 USD
