The Team:
The Growth Corporate Account Executive team is responsible for the most extensive portfolio of accounts in the company. The teams are supported by the best-in-class products, with the best sales motions, and the cooperation of other departments (Value Engineers, Partner Managers and Consulting Services). Based in Madrid, we cover EMEA and Emerging markets, and we are rapidly expanding with excellent career growth opportunities.
The Role:
As a Sales Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the Growth Team Account Executives and gaining valuable insights into the SaaS industry. This internship will give you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, customer outreach, and the overall sales cycle. You will work closely with our team to help drive business growth, develop key sales skills, and contribute to the success of our company.
The work you’ll do:
- Assist in lead generation activities, including identifying and researching potential clients.
- Support the sales team with prospect outreach via email, phone calls, and social media platforms.
- Participate in the preparation of sales presentations and materials.
- Qualify leads and help manage prospects in the sales pipeline.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining sales records and CRM updates.
- Conduct market research to help identify new sales opportunities and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns and promotions.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of the sales process and our SaaS offerings.
The qualifications you need:
- Student of Business Administration or a comparable program
- Think analytically, work in a structured manner and quickly comprehend new topics and complex interrelationships to also present and explain them to various stakeholders
- Ability to listen very well, be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable as an interface between different departments and all levels of management
- Have an eye for detail as well as exceptional organizational and planning skills within a fast-paced sales environment
- Be curious and have a long-term interest in Sales, Marketing, or an operational role
- Proficiency in Excel and interest to work with different IT tools
- Native level (or equivalent) in English. Fluency in Arabic is a strong plus.
