Senior Backend Engineer - Admin Experience

The Team:

The Admin Experience team is building the central command center for our enterprise platform. We are focused on delivering a powerful, intuitive, and secure Admin Cockpit that gives our customers the control they need to manage their entire organization on our system.

The cross-functional team is comprised of dedicated backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers, an Engineering Manager, and a Product Owner, ensuring we have the diverse skills needed to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The Role:

You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-scale features across critical management domains, including:

• Identity & Access: Building and maintaining robust APIs for managing Users, Groups, and Permissions.
• Governance & Compliance: Developing features for real-time access to Audit Logs and platform security controls.
• Operational Insight: Creating views for platform Observability, Notifications, and system health.
• License & Adoption Tracking: Delivering actionable insights through License Utilization and Adoption Views.

The work you’ll do:

• Write maintainable, testable, and efficient code
• Work autonomously on daily tasks without supervision
• Take leadership in key technical decisions
• Partner with the product manager on analyzing existing and gathering additional requirements
• Create and present technical design documents
• Participate in OpsCop rotations, take care of deployments to production
• Closely communicate with frontend engineers in the team
• Foster a knowledge-sharing and collaborative culture within the team

The qualifications you need:

• 7+ years of professional experience building Java applications
• Good understanding of the Spring framework
• Experience with REST APIs and/or distributed micro-service architecture
• Passion for writing clean and understandable code
• Familiar with containerization technologies (i.e. Docker)
• Nice to have: experience with modern frontend frameworks - Angular or other Javascript frameworks
