Sr. Communications Manager

We're looking for a Senior Communications Manager to own and elevate CentralReach's external voice, across social channels and our public relations partnerships. This is a senior, largely autonomous role for someone who can both set strategy and execute at a high level, with a particular focus on managing our external PR agency relationship and ensuring our communications are sharp, consistent, and aligned with business priorities. 

You'll report into the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing and work closely with the CMO,  along with cross-functional partners in product marketing and executive stakeholders to shape how CentralReach shows up in the market. We're looking for someone who brings creativity and fresh ideas to the table, and who's willing to help amplify our internal employee community on social as part of that mix. 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Lead the PR agency partnership: Serve as the primary internal owner of our PR agency relationship, setting priorities, briefing the agency on company news and initiatives, reviewing and approving media pitches, and holding the partnership accountable to results. 
  • Own external communications: Lead external-facing communications - press releases, media statements, external executive messaging, and public company announcements. 
  • Own social media strategy and execution: Develop and manage the always-on social content calendar across platforms, ensuring brand voice consistency and alignment with campaign and business priorities. 
  • Manage media opportunities: Coordinate media outreach, respond to inbound press inquiries (with the agency), and help identify speaking, award, and visibility opportunities for company leadership. 
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with events, product marketing, and clinical/thought-leadership teams to amplify key moments (launches, conferences, customer stories) through social and PR channels. 
  • Track and report on performance: Own social and PR metrics/reporting, translating results into insights that inform strategy. 
  • Engage directly with customers: Speak with customers directly to surface stories, gather quotes, and identify advocacy opportunities for social and PR use. 
  • Build and grow our customer community: Partner with the Integrated Marketing team to build a customer community, expanding and nurturing our premier customer list to cultivate customer advocates and feature customer success stories across corporate communications and social strategy. 
  • Mentor and manage: Depending on team structure, may oversee a coordinator specialist supporting social and communications execution. 

 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • 6+ years of experience in social media management, corporate communications, or public relations, with progressively increasing ownership and strategic responsibility. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing an external PR or communications agency relationship. 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, able to shift tone across executive communications, social copy, and press materials. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and translating business priorities into external-facing messaging. 
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers to build relationships and surface stories. 
  • A strategic mindset paired with a willingness to be hands-on with execution. 

 

Preferred, though not required:  

  • Background in healthcare, healthcare IT, or health tech is a strong plus, familiarity with the regulatory, clinical, or payer landscape is valuable but not required.  
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or a mission-driven organization. 

Base Salary Range

$125,000 - $135,000 USD
