The Regional Clinic Operations Manager reports to the AVP, Healthcare Operations and serves as a healthcare operations professional managing several medical clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Day to day responsibilities will include leading and managing the operations flow and processes of clinics and partnering with regional and executive leadership to ensure the quality of care provided to patients complies and ensures patient satisfaction and retention. This position focuses on operational management, advanced staff oversight, comprehensive budget management, and ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. The Regional Clinic Operations Manager collaborates closely with senior management, clinicians, and other leaders to drive operational excellence, enhance patient satisfaction, and contribute to the growth and success of the clinics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the region, through regular visits to the clinics, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services.
- Lead and manage a team of clinic managers, including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and workflow direction.
- Develop and execute operational plans to enhance patient engagement, satisfaction, and retention across centers in the region.
- Develop open lines of communications with clinic staff, including clinical providers.
- Collaborate with senior management and medical directors to identify and implement best practices and operational improvements.
- Stays updated on industry trends, new medical technologies, procedures, and pending regulatory changes, and ensures compliance across clinics.
- Manages budget planning and financial oversight, including forecasting, funding recommendations, and financial reporting for the region.
- Directs comprehensive functions and activities of clinics, including systems, policies, procedures, and human resources support services.
- Address and resolve advanced operational problems and policies, providing recommendations to senior management.
- Represents the clinics at public and professional meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and reputation.
- Maintains professional affiliations and participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with trends in healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or equivalent.
- 5 or more years of experience managing a market within a clinic or outpatient urgent care setting is required. Value-based care operations experience is preferred.
- 2 or more years of people management experience is required.
- Strong understanding of financials for medical clinic operations, especially in patient engagement, growth, and retention.
- Must be enthusiastic about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer/patient experiences.
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the assigned market.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
