The Role:

Cerebral is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Growth Marketing Manager with expertise in direct mail, affiliates, and paid media operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through various marketing channels. Your primary focus will be on direct mail campaigns, affiliate partnerships, and paid media operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in growth marketing, data analytics, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.

Who you are:

  • 6+ years of  experience in digital marketing and/or growth marketing. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Growth Marketer, Marketing Manager, or similar role, with strong knowledge and expertise in direct mail, affiliates, and paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Looker and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with marketing technologies and data integration, including experience with Segment. 
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on driving measurable growth and ROI.

  • Growth Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies and tactics to drive customer acquisition while maintaining efficient CAC.
  • Affiliate & Partnerships: Identify, onboard, and manage affiliate partners to expand brand reach and drive traffic and sales.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration, smooth project execution, and alignment with business goals.
  • Paid Media: Oversee paid media operations and activations, including search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, CTV, and programmatic advertising.
  • Creative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, analytics, and product, to develop compelling marketing assets and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Develop marketing landing pages and partner with the product team on core site to optimize user experience and path to conversion. 
  • Measurement: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Data & Tech: Partner with internal data & tech teams, and external agencies to implement data strategies and marketing technologies to improve targeting, measurement, optimizations and overall execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, analytics, product, tech, legal and compliance, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns. 
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities, stay ahead of industry best practices, and inform marketing strategies.

The national base salary range (OR the national hourly range for nonexempt positions) offered for this position is outlined below. Cerebral is committed to equal pay for equal work; however, business reasons may dictate variations in pay that are attributed to objective factors, such as a candidate's qualifications and years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary and may include an annual performance bonus and equity/stock options.

National Base Salary Range:

$110,000 - $135,000 USD
