Senior Director, Technical Product Marketing – AI Compute

Sunnyvale, CA

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. Our novel wafer-scale architecture provides the AI compute power of dozens of GPUs on a single chip, with the programming simplicity of a single device. This approach allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds and empowers machine learning users to effortlessly run large-scale ML applications, without the hassle of managing hundreds of GPUs or TPUs.

Cerebras' current customers include top model labs, global enterprises, and cutting-edge AI-native startups. OpenAI recently announced a multi-year partnership with Cerebras, to deploy 750 megawatts of scale, transforming key workloads with ultra high-speed inference.

Thanks to the groundbreaking wafer-scale architecture, Cerebras Inference offers the fastest Generative AI inference solution in the world, over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services. This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and credibility.
  • Support major product launches with detailed technical documentation and proof points.
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership around AI scaling, inference performance, and compute efficiency.
Market & Industry Strategy
  • Monitor AI infrastructure trends including model scaling laws, inference economics, custom silicon innovation, and datacenter architectures.
  • Engage with analysts, media, and technical influencers to shape industry perception.
  • Support executive communications with technical narratives and industry framing.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence roadmap based on market dynamics.
  • Align with Developer Relations, Corporate Marketing, and Field teams on go-to-market execution.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing technical product marketing team.

Skills And Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing within enterprise technology or infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in competitive product marketing in highly technical markets.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML infrastructure, including accelerators, model training, inference workloads, distributed systems, and performance benchmarking.
  • Strong technical writing portfolio (whitepapers, performance analyses, technical blogs).
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with highly technical audiences.
  • Strong executive presence and cross-functional influence.

Preferred

  • Experience in AI hardware, semiconductor, HPC, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale environments.
  • Familiarity with large language models, foundation model training, and inference optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise and government customers in AI infrastructure adoption.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
