Position Description:
Ceribell is looking for a Senior Director of Software to lead ongoing development of Ceribell’s EEG software. The ideal candidate should have software development as well as team management experience, and have experience with medical device software regulations and documentation. In this role you will lead an established software development team, and be responsible for prioritization, resource planning, and growing the team. You will work closely with other teams and stakeholders within Ceribell to define features and products, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate timelines and progress.
Responsibilities:
- Lead software development team in launching and maintaining features and products
- Work closely with Product, Data Science, and Hardware teams to define and implement new features
- Work with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and that software requirements are thoroughly documented and tested
- Manage team team priorities across multiple projects, appropriately plan resourcing needs
- Ensure appropriate tools and software development best practices are implemented
- Hire and mentor software developers and related team roles
Requirements/Qualifications
- BS in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
- 15+ years of software development experience, 10+ years of software team management experience
- Knowledge of and experience with medical device regulatory standards, documentation, and V&V
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan. Compensation Range
$280,000 - $307,000 USD
