Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to support our growing commercial organization. This role will be responsible for the design, execution, and ongoing analysis of variable compensation plans across a range of sales roles including Territory Managers and Account Managers. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in Excel, Salesforce, and business intelligence tools, and thrives in a cross-functional environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring compensation plans are accurately modeled, administered, and aligned with business objectives, helping drive performance and transparency across the sales team.
What you'll do:
Sales Compensation Plan Execution & Administration
- Support the design and implementation of sales compensation plans across multiple commercial functions.
- Build and maintain accurate compensation models in Excel and BI tools to calculate commissions, bonuses, and track quota attainment.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and HR to ensure timely and compliant administration of incentive payouts, including data validation, forecasting, and accrual tracking.
- Monitor compensation processes for data accuracy and policy alignment, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance with internal standards.
Performance Reporting & Analytics
- Analyze compensation and performance data to identify trends, assess plan effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that support strategic reviews and help drive sales productivity.
- Assist in territory and quota-setting processes by providing data-driven recommendations to optimize alignment and resource allocation.
Systems & Tools
- Maintain and enhance compensation-related reporting in Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms to increase visibility and ease of use.
- Support the integration of compensation data into CRM, HRIS, and finance systems for unified reporting and planning.
Provide reporting and support to sales reps and leaders on quotas, earnings, and performance metrics.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or financial analysis—ideally in a B2B or medical technology environment.
- Strong skills in Excel, including advanced modeling, scenario planning, and large data manipulation.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and familiarity with CRM-integrated compensation workflows.
- Proficiency in Power BI or other analytics/reporting tools; experience with relational databases is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan. Compensation Range
$138,210 - $145,230 USD
