Salesforce Developer- India

India - Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Developer to support, maintain, and continuously improve our Salesforce platform within the Revenue Operations organization. This role balances new delivery with day-to-day operational support and ongoing platform optimization.

You will work within an established and actively used GTM tech stack, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The role includes meaningful ownership of Agentforce-based solutions, alongside ongoing support, technical debt reduction, and system optimization.

This is a critical execution role for someone who enjoys owning production systems and making them work better over time—and who values building the right solution, not just the fastest one.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Support & Platform Operations

  • Provide ongoing Salesforce support for Sales, Marketing, and RevOps users

  • Investigate and resolve bugs, data issues, automation failures, and integration errors

  • Triage incoming requests, balance urgent fixes with planned work, and communicate status clearly

  • Support production issues related to flows, Apex, integrations, permissions, and Agentforce workflows

Technical Debt Reduction & Optimization

  • Refactor and simplify existing Apex, Flows, and automation

  • Replace legacy workflows and Process Builder logic with modern Flow-based solutions

  • Improve data quality, validation logic, and system consistency

  • Optimize SOQL queries, Apex execution, and automation performance

  • Reduce duplicate or conflicting automation across the platform

Salesforce Development & Enhancements

  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled)

  • Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) and standard Lightning functionality

  • Create and optimize custom objects, fields, relationships, and validation rules

  • Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage and documentation

  • Evaluate solution options (declarative vs. programmatic, build vs. buy) and recommend the approach that best balances scale, maintainability, and speed

Agentforce (Required Focus Area)

  • Build, support, and enhance Salesforce Agentforce workflows and agents

  • Partner with GTM Systems and Ops teams to identify Agentforce use cases across Sales and Revenue workflows

  • Ensure Agentforce solutions are secure, reliable, auditable, and well-documented

  • Troubleshoot Agentforce behavior and automation issues in production

Integrations & GTM Tooling

  • Support and enhance integrations between Salesforce and GTM tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong, Zendesk, NetSuite, HubSpot, Clari)

  • Troubleshoot sync issues, data mismatches, and API failures

  • Improve integration reliability, monitoring, and error handling

  • Partner with Ops teams to ensure systems function end-to-end

Platform Governance & Delivery

  • Follow Salesforce best practices for security, sharing, and access controls

  • Participate in release management, testing, and deployments

  • Maintain documentation for systems, automation, integrations, and Agentforce workflows

  • Monitor system limits, performance, and integration health

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Development & Support

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flows

  • Experience supporting production Salesforce orgs in active, high-usage environments

  • Comfort debugging complex automation and legacy configurations

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling and security concepts

Agentforce (Required)

  • Hands-on experience building, configuring, or supporting Salesforce Agentforce

  • Experience deploying Agentforce solutions into production environments

  • Understanding of governance, security, and monitoring considerations for Agentforce workflows

Integrations & APIs

  • Experience building or supporting REST/SOAP integrations

  • Familiarity with Named Credentials, OAuth 2.0, and API error handling

  • Experience troubleshooting integration and data sync issues

DevOps & Tooling

  • Experience with Git-based workflows and Salesforce DX

  • Exposure to deployment tools such as DevOps Center, Gearset, or Copado

  • Ability to write and maintain unit tests for existing and new code

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web concepts

  • Experience working in Agile or ticket-based support environments

  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Exposure to or interest in Revenue Cloud, CPQ, or quote-to-cash systems

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)

  • Experience supporting Revenue Operations or GTM systems

  • Familiarity with common GTM tools (Outreach, Gong, HubSpot, Zendesk, NetSuite)

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • High-quality, maintainable solutions: clean code, thoughtful automation design, strong test coverage, and clear documentation

  • Strong technical judgment: consistently choosing the right approach (declarative vs. code, quick fix vs. durable fix) and avoiding unnecessary complexity

  • Improved operational reliability: faster resolution of Salesforce support and integration issues with fewer repeat incidents

  • Reduced technical debt: simplified automation and more predictable system behavior

  • Effective Agentforce delivery: reliable Agentforce workflows running in production with appropriate governance and monitoring

  • Trusted partner to GTM teams: clear communication, good prioritization, and solutions that improve day-to-day productivity

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
