Senior Marketing Analyst
Chainguard is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to help scale how we measure, understand, and optimize marketing performance and return on investment across demand generation, performance marketing, and the BDR motion.
This is a high-visibility role partnering closely with Marketing, Finance, and RevOps leadership to build the analytics frameworks that guide investment decisions and pipeline growth. You’ll help define what success looks like, not just report on it.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain end-to-end funnel analysis, connecting website engagement, campaign performance, and downstream pipeline
- Own performance marketing and web analytics, including analyzing paid search, paid social, and website traffic to identify high-performing pages, conversion drop-offs, and funnel friction
- Diagnose full-funnel performance from first touch through opportunity, surfacing optimization opportunities across campaigns, landing pages, lifecycle flows, and BDR handoffs
- Analyze lead quality, speed-to-lead, and conversion performance to improve follow-up efficiency and meeting outcomes
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that show pacing, performance, efficiency, and ROI across channels, segments, and regions
- Analyze marketing performance to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities, and present clear, actionable recommendations to Marketing leadership
- Support regular executive reporting (monthly reviews, QBRs, revenue updates)
- Help tell clear, compelling data stories that influence budget allocation and marketing decisions
- Lead bi-weekly marketing performance meetings focused on marketing programs, insights, and recommendations
- Contribute to improving analytics infrastructure, documentation, and reporting standards
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing analytics, marketing ops, or a similar role in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to frame ambiguous business questions and translate data into actionable insights
- Hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools (Sigma preferred) plus marketing attribution tools like Hockeystack
- Deep understanding of performance marketing and web funnels, including paid media, website optimization, and conversion analysis
- Solid understanding of marketing and sales funnel metrics, pipeline, and attribution
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders across varying levels of technical and data fluency
- Highly proactive, independent, and comfortable owning work end-to-end in a fast paced environment
Base Salary Range
$111,000 - $130,000 USD
