Senior ABM Manager

United States - Remote

Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. By delivering hardened, secure, and production-ready builds of all the open source software engineers and AI agents rely on, Chainguard helps organizations build faster, stay compliant, and eliminate risk.

Our customers include Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders, including Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, OpenAI, Snap Inc., and Snowflake.

Chainguard is venture-backed by leading investors, including Amplify, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mantis VC, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital.

The role, in a nutshell:

We are hiring a full-stack, technical Sr. Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager to own our ABM program end-to-end. You'll start with bespoke 1:1 and 1:few programs against our most strategic enterprise and regulated accounts, then build the operating model and automation to extend what works to 1:many.

This is a builder role, not a project manager role. You'll launch your own ads, build your own pages and workflows, and pull your own data. You reach for an agent or automation before doing anything by hand, and you're a real partner to Sales, with the presence to shape account plans and the discipline to report on shared numbers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the ABM program. Set strategy and run execution for Chainguard's top enterprise and regulated accounts across the full lifecycle: new business, deal acceleration, and expansion. Design and launch 1:1 and 1:few campaigns yourself across paid digital, web, email, gifting, and executive events, with messaging built for CISOs, security engineering, and platform leaders.
  • Build the operating model. Define the playbooks, target account lists, tooling, and measurement framework for how ABM runs here, so programs stay repeatable and high quality as we scale from a handful of accounts to 1:many.
  • Operationalize AI for ABM. Build agents and workflows in Clay, HubSpot, Hightouch, and custom internal apps to research accounts, capture signals, personalize outreach, and orchestrate multi-channel plays. Experiment, productionize what works, and document it.
  • Partner with Sales, BDR, and Partners, and measure what matters. Develop joint account plans with Sales, sales leadership, the BDR team, and the Partner team, ensure coordinated follow-up on every program, and drive rep enablement. Define KPIs for pipeline, penetration, engagement, and acceleration, and report impact with Marketing Ops in Omni and BigQuery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with 2+ years running ABM programs at a SaaS, security, or infrastructure company, and cross-channel campaigns you shipped end to end that produced pipeline.
  • Full-stack execution across paid media, web, email, and marketing automation, without waiting on a large supporting team. Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Clay (or equivalents), familiarity with intent and comfort writing SQL against BigQuery to answer your own questions.
  • An AI builder's mindset: you've applied agents, LLM APIs, or advanced automation to real marketing problems and treat AI as the default way to scale.
  • Creative in the 1:1 tier, disciplined enough to run many programs at once, and credible with technical and security buyers and sales leadership alike.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience marketing into regulated industries or the public sector (FedRAMP, financial services, healthcare)
  • Familiarity with the cloud-native and open source ecosystem (Kubernetes, containers, software supply chain security)
  • Experience building and managing CDP-driven audience pipelines, including audience syncs, match rate optimization and suppression workflows.

We know not everyone will check every box on day one. If this role excites you and you've done most of this, we'd like to hear from you.

Base Salary Range

$140,000 - $167,500 USD
