As a Program Manager you will lead multi-functional teams providing solutions to challenging problems in the cyber operations mission domain across a broad set of Federal Government customers.

*This position will allow limited partial remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Program Manager for midsize to large teams developing solutions for challenging problems in cyberspace
  • Build cohesion, continuity, and resiliency in order to ensure a healthy team
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholder feedback, concerns, and issues are regularly captured and addressed
  • Manage execution to achieve program cost, technical, and schedule commitments
  • Ensure objectives and scope are commonly understood and well documented  
  • Ensure requirements are clear, decomposed, and verifiable
  • Keep schedules accurate and with well-defined deliverables
  • Work aggressively to ensure projects have required resources to meet all commitments and team needs, e.g. staffing, supplies, licenses, hardware, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage cloud operations, development projects, and on-site system deployments from inception through completion.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  2. Client Engagement:
    • Act as a senior point of contact for clients regarding cloud operations.
    • Act as a senior point of contact for clients regarding on-site system deployments.
    • Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions and support.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Experience leading teams through the software development life cycle and delivering capabilities to operations
    • Experience procuring computer equipment and systems.
    • Oversee the runtime environment for client operations, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of on-premise and cloud operations, including common services and enclaves.
    • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.
    • Track and enable Agile Software Development practices 
  4. Operations Management:
    • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures for cloud environments.
    • Manage the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud services.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
    • Collaborate with security teams to maintain the integrity and security of cloud operations.

Qualifications:

  • Mission First Mindset
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in cloud operations, IT infrastructure, or software development supporting production systems.
  • Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud operations, including common services.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to acquire SCI
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing solution development efforts in cloud deployments, software/application development, and/or Cyber Operations domain with Federal Government customers. This includes domain or technical expertise, financial management expertise and pricing knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of software development, specifically Agile methodologies
  • Attitude of team success before self
  • A drive for excellence and quality

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP and/or similar work experience
