About the Role
Champions Club is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team! The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home or other building.
This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Making beds and changing linens
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
- Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Stock and maintain all linens, toiletries, and other supplies frequently
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Steaming and cleaning draperies
- Washing/cleaning blinds, windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Tidying up rooms
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Organize all furniture and hotel items to Hotel’s standards
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist guest in terms of room preference
- Assists other departments and duties when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
- Performs additional duties as needed
Experience & Skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience preferred
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holiday
- Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct
- Understands the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues
Qualities & Preferences
- Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance
- Ability to maintain peak performance during high stress situations
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
This starting pay for this role is $14.00/hr
