Warehouse Associate
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role primarily involves warehouse operations with occasional delivery-driving responsibilities. If you have a passion for organization, inventory management, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, inspecting products for any defects or damages.
- Order Preparation: Process and fulfill orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and organizing orders in the delivery area.
- Inventory Management: Order parts and tools via email and phone, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure quality control.
- Shipping & Receiving: Oversee accurate shipping and receiving of packages, reconciling packing slips and invoices.
- Equipment Handling: Operate forklifts and other motor vehicles safely; stage equipment for installations.
- Delivery Duties: Deliver parts and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Vendor Coordination: Order parts and equipment from various vendors and maintain purchase orders.
- Administrative Tasks: Create and maintain purchase orders, collaborate with Accounting to resolve issues, and ensure all paperwork is accurately submitted and entered into databases.
- Customer Support: Work with internal departments to address and resolve customer concerns.
- Work Environment Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in a warehouse setting.
- Professional interaction with customers and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; PC proficiency is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable.
- Licenses: Ability to drive various company vehicles and meet insurance requirements.
- Other Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of hands, including lifting/moving objects (10-75 lbs).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, and balance for extended periods.
- Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Moderate exposure to physical risks and occasional ladder use.
