Technical Sourcer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sourcer to identify and engage exceptional talent for our growing team! As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll partner closely with our Recruiting Lead, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to build robust pipelines of technical talent aligned with our mission and values. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Recruiting Lead and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the requirements, team dynamics, and organizational goals for each role
- Develop and implement creative strategies to build talent pipelines, leveraging tactical research, referrals, networking events, and sourcing campaigns
- Proactively identify, engage, and activate passive candidates through advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn, and alternative platforms
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess alignment with basic qualifications and fit for the role
- Partner with Recruiting Coordinators, HR and Operations team members to ensure seamless and efficient operational workflows
- Maintain and analyze pipeline metrics, providing regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing effectiveness and efficiency
- Build expertise in critical skills, target companies, and industry trends to guide sourcing strategies and inform hiring decisions
- Utilize data and analytics to influence hiring strategies, ensure data integrity, and track progress toward recruitment goals
- Work 4-5 days onsite out of our office in Hawthorne, California
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-4 years of proven experience sourcing highly technical engineering roles, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of technical roles and the skills required for success in areas such as software engineering, systems engineering, machine learning, mechanical design, electrical engineering, etc.
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and optimize processes
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and pipeline development
- Desire to grow into a full-cycle Technical Recruiter as a career path
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Possess existing network of engineering talent within the Los Angeles area
