The Opportunity
Chaparral Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist to join our team of dedicated providers. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives by delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care in a collaborative, physician-led environment. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or recently completed your fellowship, you'll play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing cardiovascular disease while performing and interpreting advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and improve heart health outcomes in our community.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and conditions
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiac imaging
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute cardiovascular issues
  • Perform interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on progress and evolving needs
  • Provide patient education on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
  • Collaborate closely with internal medicine providers, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain thorough and timely patient documentation in the EMR system
  • Participate in call rotations and provide emergency cardiology care as needed
  • Stay current with advancements in cardiology through continuing education, research, and peer collaboration

Who You Are

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (required)
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship (required)
  • Board certification in Cardiology (required)
  • Valid medical license to practice in California (required)
  • Strong diagnostic and interventional clinical skills (required)
  • Experience with cardiac imaging and interventional procedures such as angioplasty or catheterization (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
  • Committed to continuous professional development and delivering patient-centered care

Salary range

$250,000 - $350,000 USD
