About the Role
Title: Senior Product Designer
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
Location: Austin, TX (Hyrbid - 3 days/wk in office)
CharterUP is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing US-based team in Austin.
What You’ll Do
- Own the design process for multiple product lines from ideation through to execution, making a direct impact on our growth.
- Conduct user research to deeply understand customer needs and pain points, and translate those insights into compelling design solutions.
- Design customer journey maps, personas, and wireframes to guide product development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—product managers, engineers, customer success, operations, and sales—to ensure design quality across all aspects.
- Leverage Figma to create beautiful, user-centered designs that ensure a seamless, intuitive experience.
- Present and justify your design decisions, using data and user feedback to make a clear case.
- Drive forward product strategy with innovative design thinking, influencing the direction of our product portfolio.
- Influence product strategy through thoughtful and innovative design thinking.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a user-centered design approach.
- Proven ability to conduct and synthesize user research into actionable insights that inform design solutions.
- Expertise with Figma and other design tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Collaborative spirit—able to work seamlessly across teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A problem-solving mindset that challenges assumptions and pushes design boundaries.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence (nice-to-have but not essential).

Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 USD
