About the Role
Title: GM, New Mobility
Reports to: CEO
Location: Miami, FL (Must be in Miami area or willing to relocate for role)
CharterUP is hiring a high-impact operator to lead the launch of a confidential new product line that represents a major expansion of our core marketplace in Miami. Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll take full ownership of the product from concept to execution—building a business from the ground up that opens new customer segments and unlocks long-term growth. This is a zero-to-one leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving hard problems, and knows how to move fast. You’ll validate product-market fit in our first launch market, define the go-to-market playbook, and scale the offering across the U.S. If you’re looking to build something meaningful with full executive backing—this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for a new product line within our marketplace platform.
- Launch the first market, acting as the local GM—building supply, acquiring early customers, and validating product-market fit.
- Define product positioning, pricing, and operational model based on real-time feedback.
- Build a scalable playbook for launching and replicating the product in new markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, supply, and sales teams to integrate the offering across CharterUP.
- Operate with high autonomy and pace, making fast, informed decisions to drive outcomes.
- Build and lead a team to support market expansion as the product grows.
- Travel required.
What You’ll Bring
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 2–4 years of experience working with a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank.
- A strategic generalist with strong business judgment and a bias for action—you build quickly and make smart decisions without perfect information.
- Resourceful and tenacious—you know how to push through ambiguity and move a project from idea to market launch.
- Comfortable owning full product and operational responsibility—branding, pricing, supply management, and customer experience.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to align internal stakeholders and external partners to drive adoption.
- Experience in marketplaces, mobility, or asset-based businesses is a plus—but not required.
- Excited to roll up your sleeves, test, iterate, and scale a new vertical from the ground up.
- Local to the Miami area or willing to relocate.
- Willingness to travel.
