About the Role
Title: Recruiter
Reports to: Head of Talent Acquisition
Location: Austin, TX (open to Remote)
CharterUP is hiring a driven, adaptable Recruiter to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team. This is not a plug-and-play role—we’re looking for a full-desk generalist who’s eager to roll up their sleeves and build alongside us. You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting across diverse functions—technical, go-to-market, corporate, and high-volume roles—while helping define and improve the recruiting engine as we scale. Success here requires urgency, precision, and a builder mindset. You should thrive in ambiguity, bring operational rigor to everything you do, and know how to deliver results when the process is still being shaped.
What You’ll Do
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, with a focus on technical engineering and go-to-market roles.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that all recruitment processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness, maintaining high standards across sourcing, interviewing, and candidate experience.
- Goal Achievement: Follow established hiring goals and consistently exceed them, contributing to the company’s rapid growth.
- Sourcing and Pipeline Building: Source and engage top-tier candidates, utilizing creative strategies to build strong and diverse talent pipelines.
- Weekly Updates: Provide clear, detailed weekly hiring pipeline updates, tracking progress and ensuring transparency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring strong collaboration with hiring managers and aligning recruitment efforts with business goals.
- Performance Accountability: Take ownership of personal and our overall team performance, managing conversion metrics and meeting established hiring goals.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable, capable of shifting focus as business needs evolve in a dynamic startup environment.
- Business Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s goals and translate that into effective recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure operational excellence by delivering a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across all stages of recruitment.
What You’ll Bring
- Full-Cycle Recruiting Expertise: Proven experience managing high-volume recruiting processes across a range of functions, including both technical and non-technical roles.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled at measuring and optimizing pass-through rates and using data to improve pipeline health, process efficiency, and hiring outcomes.
- Strong Sourcing Ability: Adept at building robust, diverse candidate pipelines through a mix of inbound management and proactive outbound sourcing.
- Operational Excellence: Committed to process improvement and recruiting rigor, with a track record of optimizing workflows for speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Stakeholder Management: Confident engaging with hiring managers and internal teams at all levels to align on hiring goals and drive outcomes.
- Exceptional Coordination: At least 1 year of experience in interview scheduling and candidate communication, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, and experience with Google Suite
- Organizational Strength: Ability to juggle multiple open roles and shifting priorities without losing momentum or accuracy.
- Ownership Mentality: Takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Adaptability & Drive: Eager to learn, grow, and deliver results in a goal-oriented, high-performance culture.

Compensation:
$80,000 - $100,000 USD
