About the Role
CharterUP is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of a new, high-impact product within our growing mobility platform. This role blends UX strategy, visual design, and product thinking — from user research and usability testing to building intuitive, production-ready interfaces in Figma. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers, helping shape a cohesive design system and elevating the overall product experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a startup-paced environment, where your ideas will directly influence product direction and user satisfaction.

Reports to: Chief Product Officer
Location: Brazil, Remote.
What You’ll Do
Design from Discovery to Delivery: Conduct user research and usability testing, translate insights into wireframes and prototypes, and ship elegant, production-ready designs.
Own the Visual System: Create scalable, consistent design components in Figma, contributing to and expanding our design system.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define problems, explore solutions, and iterate quickly.
Champion the User: Bring a user-first mindset to ensure designs are functional, accessible, and visually cohesive across platforms.
Contribute to Culture: Collaborate with the broader design team (4+ designers plus UX lead) to evolve design standards, processes, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on product design experience spanning UI and UX for web or mobile applications.
- Figma Expertise: Deep proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, prototyping, and collaborative workflows.
- Product Mindset: Proven success designing within software development environments, collaborating closely with engineers and PMs.
- User-Centric Skills: Strong background in usability testing, user interviews, and turning insights into thoughtful design solutions.
- Portfolio Quality: Work that demonstrates polished, interaction-focused design for complex digital products.
- Communication: Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
- Work Ethic: Startup mentality — proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience designing for B2B, logistics, or other complex system-driven products.
