We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Analyst with strong expertise in manual and automated testing, and deep experience in database validation and SQL. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data-driven applications by working closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers. In this role you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend layers
  • Conduct ETL/data pipeline testing for large-scale data movement and transformation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to story grooming and estimation.
  • Generate test data and simulate real-world scenarios to ensure robustness of applications.
  • Validate and report data and functional defects and track them till closure.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Clickup or JIRA.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of system under test through robust testing, process monitoring, and maintenance procedures.
  • Continuously improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the process.
  • Monitor and track key quality metrics and performance indicators to provide insights into the process and product quality.
  • Create and maintain test automation scripts (if applicable) using tools like Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, or Python-based frameworks.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is built into all stages of product development.
  • Participate in technical initiatives that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Properly document the test activities and contribute to the test deliverables.
  • Work in an agile, collaborative, distributed, fast-paced and exciting environment.

  • You will work along with Lead Quality Assurance Analyst to help implement an improved quality management system over all software products and solutions.
  • Your work will contribute to automating the test process across multiple data products and maintain consistency in data accuracy and quality levels.
  • You will help the company grow to newer heights through your innovative skills.

 

Contributors to your success: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with database testing, preferably in data warehouse or analytics projects.
  • Strong command over SQL with ability to write complex joins, CTEs, sub-queries, data comparisons, etc.
  • Represents a big plus experience in CRE and Financial domain
  • Represents a big plus experience in data warehousing concepts like landing & staging interfaces, data mart access layers, data contracts etc.
  • Represents a big plus experience in dbt (data build tool), Snowflake, Power BI Desktop, Power Query.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
  • Experience in version control tools like Git.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in distributed, cross-functional teams and experience with onsite/offshore models.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
