CheckAlt is looking for a Risk & Compliance Program Manager to help us scale our risk infrastructure, embed compliance into core workflows, and strengthen how we support clients, vendors, audits, and cross-functional teams in fintech, banking, and payments. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that brings structure to complexity—building durable systems that meet regulatory expectations, operational needs, and client obligations as we grow.
What You’ll Do:

- Lead our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) cadence
Own Client Due Diligence & Access Controls
- Execute client onboarding risk reviews, questionnaires, and contractual risk checkpoints
- Track ACH limits, onboarding conditions, and client-specific monitoring obligations
- Standardize responses to client RFIs and due diligence requests across banking and enterprise clients
- Partner with Security to document and improve access control governance and periodic reviews
Coordinate Compliance Across Teams
- Monitor and translate changes in BSA/AML, Nacha, OCC, FFIEC, and GLBA guidance into clear internal actions
- Ensure policies, procedures, and communications reflect current regulatory and client commitments
Enable Product & Onboarding Decisions
- Embed risk assessments, approval thresholds, and exception logging into product development and onboarding workflows
- Maintain risk approval logs for deviations, escalations, and risk acceptances
- Help align legal, product, and ops teams around consistent decision-making frameworks
Support Audits, Vendors & Internal Reviews
- Lead audit prep for SOC 2, PCI DSS, and client reviews with centralized documentation and process oversight
- Manage internal readiness for risk committee, compliance testing, and remediation cycles
Improve vendor risk lifecycle by embedding control checks into procurement and performance oversight
Build Dashboards & Governance Infrastructure
- Own KRIs, risk dashboards, and reporting for executive and board committees
- Partner with SalesOps and Legal to embed risk checkpoints into Salesforce and contract workflows
- Build scalable, repeatable systems that support growth without reinventing the wheel
Talents you’ll bring:
- 5–8 years in fintech, banking, payments, or BaaS risk, compliance, or operations roles
- Deep familiarity with regulatory framework, vendor risk, access control, client due diligence, and audit readiness
- Proven success building scalable programs across multiple teams or business lines
- Comfortable working in tools like Power BI, JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce
- A systems thinker who loves building durable, cross-functional infrastructure
Characteristics you’ll have:
- Results-oriented with the self-motivation and drive to enable client success and continuous improvement.

- Resourceful and collaborative with a bias towards action
- A personal and business value of treating others with honesty and respect.
