About the team/role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our Service Design team. This role is crucial in driving self-service improvements through GenAI initiatives, enhancing user experience, and advancing Checkr’s goal of increasing overall customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, curious, and self-motivated individual capable of managing interconnected roadmaps and ensuring seamless delivery of strategic initiatives across our service design strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing operational improvement projects, a strong ability to collaborate with technical and design teams to drive user-centered service improvements and strategic goal alignment, and a knowledge of and curiosity about exploring AI and new technologies.
What you’ll do
- Manage the day-to-day service design improvements. Ensuring projects align with business strategy and goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including documentation, timelines, and deliverables for GenAI initiatives, maintaining thorough project documentation throughout project lifecycles.
- Champion continuous improvement cycles to enhance operational efficiency and user experience across self-service platforms.
- Facilitate regular meetings, provide updates, and ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders involved in GenAI initiatives.
- Manage service design Jira boards and sprints to ensure aligned delivery of roadmap and run-the-business items, optimizing collaboration and efficiency
- Strong analytical skills and reporting experience, with the ability to create clear and compelling narratives of success based on data insights.
- Oversee the strategic alignment of AI projects with Checkr’s broader business goals, engaging with leadership and project teams.
What you bring
- 5 years of experience in program/project management with a focus on operational improvements and/or GenAI implementation.
- Strong background in operations and program management tools such as JIRA, GSuite, and Smartsheet.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable solutions.
- Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience or interest in service design methodologies is a plus.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $101,597 to $119,526 in Denver, CO.
