About the team/role
Are you ready to take your partner marketing skills to the next level? Join our dynamic Checkr’s Marketing team to shape our partner marketing strategy and lead execution. In this role, you’ll manage a contractor and provide dotted-line leadership to senior manager resources, driving alignment and success across joint marketing efforts with our ecosystem partners.
As a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, you’ll work closely with partner, marketing, and sales teams to develop and implement plans that drive revenue growth. What you’ll do
- Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to fuel growth across the partner ecosystem, launch new strategic partnerships, and create joint marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Leadership: Mentor, guide, and manage a contractor and provide dotted-line leadership to senior manager resources, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
- Execution: Own campaign execution together with partners (i.e. email, webinars, events, in-product activations, paid social, etc.) and identify the budget and resources required
- Messaging: Craft compelling copy used in co-marketing programs in collaboration with partners, product marketing and content team
- Innovation: Identify and pilot new initiatives with partners using marketing development funds to drive product sign-ups, pipeline and revenue
- Stakeholders: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and collaborate closely with internal teams to integrate partners into the Go-To-Market strategy and campaigns
- Performance: Assess and communicate the impact of co-marketing activities, optimizing resource allocation and prioritizing initiatives for effective execution and alignment with business goals
What you bring
- 8+ years of experience in partner marketing in the B2B SaaS space
- Proven track record of creating and executing new partner marketing programs and building win-win relationships with partners
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple projects
- Courage to take the initiative, pilot and evaluate new program types
- Deep understanding of the customer journey through and with a partners
- Cross-functional leadership and experience driving alignment across different teams
- Hands-on experience with GTM tools, such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Looker
- Proven ability to manage and coach team members, fostering collaboration and aligning cross-functional teams to drive performance and success

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $175,198 to $206,115 in San Francisco, CA.
