The Role: Powering Next-Generation Products and Enterprise Growth
Checkr’s screenings rely on a vast and complex web of data drawn from thousands of sources, from county courts and DMVs to employment and health records from specialized sources. Our success depends on our ability to collect this disparate data, understand its nuances, and stitch it together into a clear, accurate, and comprehensive view of an individual.
While much of the industry still relies on manual, error-prone processes, Checkr is at the forefront of applying sophisticated AI and automation to this domain. We are building the intelligent infrastructure to not only manage this complexity but to turn it into a competitive advantage, ensuring our screenings are faster, more accurate, and fairer.
As a Senior Staff Product Manager for the Platform, you will own the strategy for this critical mission. You will be responsible for Checkr's people data platform, the foundational pillar for all data within the company. This platform is the engine that assembles and processes data quickly and reliably, powering every product Checkr offers—from establishing identity to criminal screenings and employment or professional license checks. Your work will centralize and build the AI systems used to audit and organize data, the infrastructure to process this data, and the management systems for intelligently routing between different sources and vendors. All of this creates a scalable foundation for building new screening types, improving the quality of existing ones, and unlocking new enterprise growth. The decisions you make will impact millions.
