Our Senior Workplace Operations Coordinator reporting to the Director, Workplace Operations, will be essential to the Workplace team’s function and hugely impact our company culture and workplace experience. We are looking for a service-minded individual to own the daily experience of our office. You will start by mastering the front-of-house operations—serving as the primary point of contact for employees and guests. This role is for a high-standard professional who thrives on being the "go-to" person for all things workplace experience. What you’ll do
- Manage daily facilities operations in our San Francisco office in coordination with Manager, Workplace Operations. This includes operational oversight of various aspects, including reception, mail management, janitorial services, food and beverage services, badge and security management, and resolving general maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with HR business partners (HRBPs), new-hire orientation team, internal Checkr Resource Groups (CRGs), local management, and other stakeholders within Checkr to implement high-impact employee experience strategies that enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.
- Own the experience and staffing of the front desk.
- Help evolve the hybrid work strategy to ensure effective operational continuity across different work arrangements.
- Design and continuously enhance impactful employee experiences across the lifecycle from onboarding to off-boarding. Ensure that workplace strategies align with creating positive experiences that support employee engagement and productivity including managing offboarding processes and presenting at new hire orientations.
- Coordinate and execute world-class intra-office events for local San Francisco Checkrs. These events should reflect company culture and foster team cohesion and Checkrs' identification with company values. Including, but not limited to, site visits, item and food sourcing, and set up and clean up.
- In coordination with the San Francisco Workplace team, oversee the daily lunch service, and snack and beverage program in our San Francisco office, organizing food needs for large group meetings, internal employee meetings, and offsites.
- Lead various project and program implementations to create smooth, transparent experiences for all employees. This would include coordinating with various teams, managing timelines, and overseeing successful project delivery.
- Triage workplace related tickets to ensure immediate attention and speedy resolution.
- Proactively manage relationships with property management, coordinating for necessary building operations and maintenance.
What you bring
- Minimum of 4 years of operational facilities management experience, with a significant emphasis on creating and delivering improved employee experiences.
- Proven track record in executing successful events.
- Proficiency in Zoom Rooms, A/V technologies, GSuite, and Slack is required to support effective communication and collaboration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels from a vendor to executive. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience and comfort in working within a fast-paced office environment. Capability to work efficiently in the physical San Francisco office daily.
- Willingness to work overtime periodically. Sometimes early days, sometimes late weekdays, and very rarely weekends for office moves or large capital project executions.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range (San Francisco, CA)
$39.90 - $47.12 USD
At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Nashville, TN, and Santiago, Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 3 days a week. In-office perks are provided, such as lunch five times a week, a commuter stipend, and an abundance of snacks and beverages. A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a Checkr hub location.
