About Checkr
Checkr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions. Established in 2014, Checkr’s innovative technology and robust data platform help customers assess risk and ensure safety and compliance to build trusted workplaces and communities. We’re a team that thrives on solving complex problems with innovative solutions that advance our mission. Checkr is recognized on Forbes Cloud 100 2025 List and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company.

Truework, recently acquired by Checkr, provides access to crucial employment, income information and asset information needed for mortgage loans, apartment rentals, background checks, and more. We are disrupting a $5B+ industry, dominated by legacy incumbents and outdated processes, with a better product and intense customer focus. Within Checkr, Truework operates independently, allowing rapid iteration while also being able to leverage the strengths and assets from our core business. Think of it like joining a startup within a startup!

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Performance Marketing Manager to build and scale paid media programs that drive brand awareness, self-serve activations, pipeline and revenue growth for Truework. You will own strategy, execution, experimentation and performance across key acquisition channels, including account-based targeting and partnering closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps to turn insights into efficient growth.

This is a hands-on role with strategic influence on results. You will be the day-to-day owner of paid acquisition performance across channels such as paid search, paid social, and display, while helping to test and scale adjacent programs, including direct mail, landing page experimentation, and new growth opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who likes operating in a scrappy, fast-moving environment, can move quickly from strategy to execution, and is motivated to build repeatable growth levers from the ground up.

What you’ll do

  • Own and scale paid media programs across paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting to drive pipeline, self-serve activations, and revenue growth.
  • Plan and execute paid media campaigns end-to-end across channels, including strategy, budgeting, targeting, optimization and performance reporting.
  • Run data-driven experiments across messaging, creative, landing pages, and channel mix to identify and scale growth opportunities
  • Analyze full-funnel performance and translate data into actionable recommendations to improve conversion rates, CAC efficiency, and marketing ROI
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, and Web to align targeting, messaging, follow-up, and measurement across campaigns, including account-based programs
  • Communicate results, insights, and investment recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
  • Evaluate and pilot new channels, vendors, and tactics (including industry publications, media partnerships, and content sponsorships), with a bias toward learning, speed, and efficient growth

What you bring

  • 6+ years of experience in performance, demand generation, or growth marketing in the B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on ownership of paid media campaigns (i.e. Google Ads, LinkedIn) from strategy through optimization.
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline and revenue growth while optimizing CAC, ROAS, and conversion efficiency, using data to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience driving alignment across Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing and external partners.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities with a bias toward action, testing, and iteration.
  • Experience testing and scaling new channels, programs, and growth opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience with core GTM and marketing tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, and ABM platforms (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense).
  • An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What you’ll get

  • A fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Learning and development allowance
  • Competitive cash and equity compensation and opportunity for advancement
  • 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Up to $25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning services
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Monthly wellness stipend
