About the team/role
To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Oracle Administrator that can partner with the business systems teams driving requirements gathering, business process optimization, testing, process optimization, and cross functional collaboration. This role will be a member of the Corporate Engineering team that implements global solutions and drives value for business stakeholders. This role should have a core competency in financial processes, and also ERP Applications.
What You’ll Do
- System Support & Troubleshooting (L1/L2): Serve as the first line of defense for finance system issues. Triage and resolve support tickets related to Oracle Fusion and any downstream finance applications.
- Requirements Documentation: Assist senior analysts in gathering requirements from stakeholders. You will be responsible for translating these discussions into clear, detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Testing & QA: Own the execution of detailed test cases for system enhancements and updates. You will perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), log defects, and work with developers to verify fixes.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain documentation for existing workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Help identify bottlenecks in current processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in the Agile Scrum processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize SQL or system reporting tools to query data, validate financial results, and provide status reports to stakeholders regarding project execution and ticket health.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on minor projects and system updates.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Math, or a related field is preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in systems analysis and process optimization
- 1+ years experience in Oracle ERP Fusion Financials or ERP systems (core general ledger, quote to cash, procure to pay)
- Working knowledge of SQL development is preferred.
- Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and system testing.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Adept at balancing multiple priorities and managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile methodology.
- Understanding of corporate business processes and systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

On-target Earnings OR Base Salary range (Santiago, Chile)
$29.613.000 - $34.839.000 CLP
At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Nashville, TN, and Santiago, Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 3 days a week. In-office perks are provided, such as lunch five times a week, a commuter stipend, and an abundance of snacks and beverages. A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a Checkr hub location.
